It can be good to have some blur from movement in images because it suggests life and movement, rather than just freezing everything as though it were a statue.
Barry, you must be a local. Great place for photos. The mill further along the dene has some nice opportunities too.
Both nice images though I think the second one would be stronger without the leaves creeping into shot in the foreground. Not always easy to achieve I admit.
