Yeah he said they do the Nikon D3000, Thats around the price range im going for tbh. =[ But i had my hopes on a D60 Because apparently they are more for the new comers into photography!

Lol Foggy you seem to be appearing a lot lately in any of my posts, Have a i found a stalker? xD!

Just like spending other peoples money. :D

Also making sure you come to the Dark side.

I have upto now a list from different site`s, This is what i have

Argos
D60 379.99
D3000 389.99

Dixons D3000 379.99
Currys D3000 399.99
Pc world D3000 399.99
Wildings D3000 429.99

 Ha ha very true, But once i come to sell it once my photography has got better then  idea xD

I have the D3000 and only bought it in September last year it is the first DSLR that I have used and I have found it really easy to use.

The D60 is getting to be a out dated camera now. If you really want a a Nikon then the D3000 is a good start. However its far to basic, tells you everything in basic terms and will drive you crazy once you learnt it already.

Everyone im going for the D3000 :) should have it within the next week or so, Im so excited. And Thanks Andy I`m rather thick so something thats rather basic to use will help lol.
My niece on my 21st got me a photography handbook, so im gonna dig my nose into that soon too :)

Are you sure

Do you want to phone a friend

Do you need a 50/50

D3000 that's your final answer!

Quick close the thread :lock:

Lmfao! :cuckoo: I think so Foggy, Seem to be the most recommended camera, And considering the D60 seems to be an ancient artefact now I think its the D3000 For me!

Saying that i think i may have a feel of them both before buying, I feel like a perv xD!

I was advise that the Nikon D3000 was better than the Canon EOS 1000D from the shop I got mine from

whatever you decide, and whether or not you agree with Ken Rockwells reviews ... perhaps have a read "here"........the ADR problem seems to be critical ..yet

"The problem here is that ADR is a very helpful feature, and one of the only reasons to buy a D3000 over the D40. "

and "Only autofocuses with AF-S (and older pro AF-I) lenses with built-in motors."...so like me with a D40, you'll be forced up-market to buy AF-S lens or equivalent
