Jet ID please?

Two of these came together East along the Dorset coast on Thursday afternoon. Looks like shoes with missiles.

Since I know zilch about such things can anyone give some info on them?

I was a bit surprised to see missiles (if that is what they are) yet not looking like a conventional fighter? Looks more like a Lear Jet on steroids than a fighter....yeah, I know someone from 'The Ministry' will tell me they are for collecting weather data or FRA means 'Farming Research Association' or some such...

Curious for input.

It's an Dassault Falcon (Mystere) 20DC

If you go to http://www.airliners.net/ and enter the aircraft reg number (G-Frau) in the search box, it should give you all the details and also other photos of the plane and where it was seen.

Not a military aircraft. They take part in military exercises simulating attacks, amoungs other things.
