Been having a play with the new water studio after getting a taste for it from some peps on here, so here are some of my first efforts using it. I think a little bit of tweaking here and there and it will be great.

damn you! how dare you post these after I have just miserably fluffed up my attempts lol now I feel worse lol

They're superb!! Second shot in second set is real class!!

i am seriously loving these sort of pictures!
what sort of lens etc should i be looking at? keep trying to hunt for information but hitting dead ends. :)

Now that second lot are superb. A bit brighter with great detail.

Great shots. These things take sooooo much effort, but well worth it when you get quality like this! Well done!

Really liking two and four of the first post and all the newly added ones, well done.

Love the simplicity and clarity of these Alby, top stuff as always.. out of interest which lens were you using as these are razor sharp??

Looks like Ash might have some competition on his hands :) :)

amazing work, no2 from the 1st post is simply stunning!!

Thanks everyone glad you like, they are good fun to try and master.
Carl, I used the sigma 105 for these although I have just taken some more using the 70-200 f4 L and a 20mm extension tube and they are looking pretty good. I may post some up later.

Cheers Alby, 5DMKii (plus 24-70 or 24-105) hopefully incoming in the next few weeks and I'm weighing up options for a "normal" (1:1) macro lens to add to my shopping list. In the interim I'm tempted by a set of Kenko tubes to try with the 24-70 / 24-105...
