I have a few shots from about 10 years ago that I produced in a darkroom and I want to have them scanned and turned into a good quality digital image but don`t posess a scanner.
Does anybody know where I good get this done? Do you think it would be the type of service offered by Klick on the high street?
Maybe I will have to send them away.
Has anyone used a similar service?

Thanks
Ian

What size negs are they ?
Where in West Yorks are you ?
If the negs are 35mm, Click or Boots or any of those high street processors can scan to disk for you fairly cheaply, but don't have high expectations of the quality of those scans.
For top Johnny scans, I know a lab but they aren't cheap..

So buy a scanner, they are cheap as chips for normal reflective scanning.
I think we still might be missing some detail here, its just too simple an answer :)

I dunno, how good is good enough, good enough for what ?

Good enough for A4 - I would think so

Good enough for 6 foot by 4 foot gallery prints - probably not

Prints will be only about 300dpi with low dynamic range, so you won't have to spend much on a scanner to do about as good as job as possible.
