Does anyone know about any software which takes a jpg image and converts it to a panoramic equivalent?

you can take multiple images with photoshop and use the automate option to merge a load together. I use it all the time, however if you go over 30,000 pixels, you cannot make JPG or JPEG images anymore and these must then be saved as PSB files

If i have time later when im back from work ill post some stuff up. I have used a few utilities, dedicated to doing pano's but i have honestly found photoshop the best, whats more you can get it free for 30 days too!

I Take it you want to take multiple images and merge them into a panoramic.
Canon used to bundle some software called "PhotoStich" on the discs supplied with the camera which does exaclty this. It works very well too

Actually No! :D

I wanted to take a jpeg file and stretch it to a pano mode. Whether it's possible or not I am not so sure :gag:

Stretch it till it looks all......stretched, as in distorted, or just a letterbox crop
I mean you can stretch stuff in paint
