Had our 2nd lot of Projected Images comp at camera club last night. One of the pictures i entered was a Lowfly plane.
The judges first comment was " Why would anyone take a picture of a plane?" to which he then added "Unless you are a Chinese spy".

Why would you take a photo of anything then??????
Why do we do photography?????
What is the point of camera clubs?????

Just thought it was a funny thing to say.

I have yet to find a camera club near me, well Kendal, I understand that there is one, just can't ever find any details anywhere.

I guess it would contain some 'interesting characters' !

More to the point, how did it do ?

Jeez m8 - you're a star - I've done worse than that on occasion at our club

Actually I think the judge was just being diplomatic. Dean's photo wasnt really very sharp but the judge didn't have the heart to tell him that, so he had to make up some excuse for giving it a low mark. ;)

No, seriously though, it was really random. Here's the proof - I scored as many points as Dean! (First that's ever happened, and probably the last too.)
