Hi Guys

In a random act of wallet opening, I seem to have purchased a Canon 5dmk3 and compared to my trusty mk2 the autofocus settings are a minefield!
Anyone know any good tips and tricks and youtube vids on it so I can get a head start on it :D

Beat me to it! That's a really helpful guide.

:)

Canon has done a lot with the 5D3 and 1DX to simplify the important business of optimum AF set-up but one other thing that doesn't get mentioned in these guides is how important user technique is. In particular, keeping that AF point accurately pinned on a moving subject with a long lens - it takes skill and a lot of practise.

I find a monopod is a great help, and when everything comes together right, I'm constantly amazed at just how fantastically capable modern equipment can be.
