Just bought a new Leica and need some advice

Just bought a new M9P with a 35mm f2 From Richard Caplan, hopefully it will arrive in malaysia on Wednesday. Been reading about SD card issues with the M9 i was going to buy one here in Malaysia and was going to get a 16 GB SanDisk extreme pro.........what do you think?..

I use the most basic Sandisk 8Gb you can get and never had a problem. Just make sure it is genuine and that it is on the approved list.

I use the SanDisk extreme in my D3s and they work great

The M9 is a different beast. I use a £15 card and it's worked fine, just stick to the cards that have been reported to work and you'll be fine. The updated firmware has helped a lot too.

I have just taken the plunge and ordered a new M9-P and I hope to have it here in KL before Thursday.........cant wait
