Yes
After years of buying 2nd hand bodies, I have finally "splashed out" on a new body.
Granted, it's still only entry level, and nothing compared to what some of you guys are using, but still excited.
Have a had a EOS300D and an EOS450D in the past, latterly coupled with a 100-400 mk1 is and an 18-55 IS Canon lens.
Ordered an EOS1300D last night, which I expect to see by the weekend.
Apart from the 12mp increasing to 18 mp, and marginally slower AF, what else should I be looking out for?

Good for you.
I hope you enjoy it! :)

I'm not sure AF will be any slower, in fact it may be the opposite. 300D and 450D are very old bodies and AF tech has moved on since.
You may well find that your new body is superior to them in evry respect.

enjoy yuur new toy :)
