Just bought myself a Helios

Just bought myself a helios 44-2 58/2 lens. I have read on a couple of places that when focused to infinity the mirror clips. would this be true?

Has any one got any picture examples of the above lens.

Congratulations - it's a VERY sharp lens imo. Not sure about the infinity focus thing - does the adaptor you're using not deal with that? I'm using it with my GF1 and a cheap ebay adaptor from Hong Kong - no problems

cool. it hasn't arrived yet but its a cheap ebay special adaptor ring that pushes the pin in when screwed on.

i picked up a copy today, it is by far one of the sharpest lens in my collection and beats the canon nifty fifty by miles. I love the smooth and creamy OOF areas. I've got in on my 5DMKII and am having so much fun with it. Although getting the focus right can be quite tricky, but its a good learning tool. I'm on the hunt for other helios lens now!
