yahooo !!!! just chopped my d80 for a lovely shiny new d300 :love:

sorry, just wanted to share my excitement. waiting for the battery to charge at the moment which seems like it's taking forever...... i'm buzzing like a kid at xmas :lol:

I have both and they are both excellent cameras ,You will love the 51 point focusing and the speed of the D300 +it's pretty easy to use :thumbs:
 
yes its certainly fast, just messed around with it for five mins, havent opened the manual yet as i'm supposed to be cooking the dinner at the moment, but first impressions are good. makes the d80 feel like a bit of a toy. will have a proper play around later !

may i suggest you get that dinner cooked before the wife / girlfriend comes in , finds the dinner not cooked and the shiny new D300 goes walkies on you :lol:
 
i have both but the D300 is so much of a better camera your love it
