I know, old news, but new to me.
First impressions.. wow its small, even compared to the D90 I had previously. Light too. I thought it didnt have a battery in. I looked, it did.
Must admit after having 4 Nikon cameras ranging from bottom to top of the range, the canon seems a little plasticy and the controls such as the scroll wheel are no way near as smooth as the Nikons.
The buttons are a little fiddly, and the menu doesnt seem very exhaustive. I cant seem to find any setting to keep the viewfinder display on longer, might just be me ***?
Oh and the zoom on the 70-200 f/4 goes the wrong way
However, the ISO performance is better than I expected and for the money I paid, its more than worth it.
I may consider upgrading to a 40/50D in the future as I really miss a top LCD, and a higher fps would be useful but this will see me good for a while .
