If you thought off a different channel in photography :suspect:, would you share it ...came up with an idea that's some what different and would stand out from the rest, would you share or go and make it your own.

Do you have an idea that should be tried but just cant do it for some reason....

Its a free for all..........:p
 
In answer to your first question - if it was a case of coming up with an original idea for photography in business then it's pretty obvious you're not going to share it. If you're a hobbyist then it makes sense to share the enjoyment. All depends on your final goals.

Second question - plenty of things I'd like to do but couldn't without a sponsor because of the nature of the things I have in mind sometimes. So if anyone has a few thousand spare just let me know :)
 
It depends entirely on the idea, and your own drive and desire to see it through. Usually, if I'm this fortunate, I'll take the shot and show anyone willing to listen and explain what I did. The shot is below, it's been posted before elsewhere here, and all it required out of the ordinary was a tripod, ND filter, a question and of course the idea. I am pleased with the fact that millions have seen and photographed the same subject, but none has captured it in this way before me(to my knowledge)

So, personally I wouldn't tell unless I knew I didn't have anywhere near the right kit. Then I'd tell someone who may give some credit for the thought to me too.

Very cool shot, and well thought out. Just goes to show if you dont ask, you dont get.
 
If I came out with an original idea id make sure i captured it quickly incase others get the same idea in the future
 
No I think Del is being very cunning and trying to get veryone to share their ideas ;)
