:woot: ...been thinking about this for a little while, for a couple of reasons... to make me work harder with my composure and also so I can try and push the portrait side of things (I already have the Lencarta Smartflash kit :naughty:) so the missus better be on her guard

Pretty pleased so far, although I've only had a little play, but I'm looking forward for some pleasing bokeh :D

Will hopefully post a couple of examples over the weekend.

Sounds good but whats a? Just picked up a Nikkor 35mm f1.8...Hope you enjoy it anyway

Got mine yesterday too :)

Enjoy mate, I have a feeling mine will be on the camera for quite a while!

How does the focus ring feel one your versions...? Mine feels a little rough, although it's fairly uniform so I'm guessing that's the way they're meant to be...

never had an issue with mine - love it to be fair, but still thinking of selling it to get some zoom glass - it has improved my photography no end in the last couple of months though!

I'm getting one of these in couple of weeks for my birthday. I've read a bunch of reviews and honestly can't wait.

Would love to see some shots with a D90!

Yeah, the focus ring on mine wasn't the smoothest either. I only MF'd about 5% of the time anyway, so it never really bothered me.

I have one, love mine. I find it reasonably sharp wide open, sharper than my 50mm f/1.8D
