Just received my Redsnapper tripod

Ordered a tripod with a ball head yesterday morning, which arrived today. First impressions are good, it's pretty stable, doesn't weigh a ton, has a nice carry bag and the ball head is nice and smooth. I'm hoping to take advantage of some nice weather this weekend (LOL) and get some good shots.

Great service from Redsnapper, and a recommendation for the 'pod.

Lots of good things said about Redsnapper around these parts. Are they really very good? And what makes them good? Are they better than other brands at a comparable price? I must say I do like the look of them...

For me the Redsnapper offered better value - a reasonably stable ali tripod, with a carry bag, two different length centre columns and a nice ball head for £107 posted ? Take off the 10% rebate for being a TP member and I don't think you can get near it for the price.

I'm also a great fan of the fact that they are manufactured in the UK. Admittedly I dont know if that means the parts are made here too or in China and just screwed together over here.... (?)
