Right tomorrow i'm going to a husky race, will obviously be taking my camera

I want to get some shots of the dogs in action, as well as them chilling out before and after.

What settings are best to use? Just put it in sport and see how it goes? or set it up manually??

If manually, what should I be doing? I.e high shutter speed, ISO etc

Im still getting used to the camera (only had it 3 days) so im not really sure where to start.

Oh, it would be best not to use flash, since it'll put em off, and i wont be very popular if I cause a team to do a 90 degree turn off the track

if you only had the camera 3 days and no idea what your doing..but want the shots tommorow then sport mode...

when you ahve time and dont mind not getting the shots then learn to use the other modes...anyhtings better than sports mode :)

im not too bothered, as I will have plenty of nice 'relaxed' ones of the dogs by their vans :)

I will try sports, check it, then have a play about between the start times (for those who dont know, they go off within 2 minutes of each other, they dont all go off at once!) i'm only doing it for myself, its not like i HAVE to get them of anything :)

cheers guys

Sinead, do you mind me where you're going to see huskies? :) Is it the one near Thetford? I wish I'd known it was on today as I'd have gone to take a look too :(
