Just took delivery of 17-55 2.8 and 10-22!

Unfortunately they are rentals and I only have them for the weekend!

I'm off to Paris tomorrow and have hired these two lenses based on recommendations from you guys here. I already love the 17-55 and may even look at getting on myself.

Lenses have been hired from Stewart at Lenses For Hire, and so far service has been excellent.

I'll be sure to share the pics when I return next week.

You will get some goos shots in Paris with the 10-22mm I love mine, its intresting to take it out on its own for an hour makes you really use the wide angles just dont get to close to peoples faces .

Don't do what I did though and get carried away with the UWA in Paris! I got some shots that I still really like, but there are lots where the subject is just a tiny speck and there's lots of empty space!

I loved the 17-55mm when I tried it last month, its so quick and so sharp! Its just the big hole in the pocket I don't like!

Don't think you will be disappointed with either lens, think they must be the two finest lenses of their type available for a Canon crop sensor camera

My only complaint is why can't they be supplied with hoods given the rather high purchase prices, seems very tight to try and make a few quid extra.
