Bank Holiday Monday ... I should have known better.
Decided to go out with the D7200 and 500 f4, despite the rain chucking it down and the wind blowing a gale.
Light was appalling and the birds had more sense than me and were obviously tucked up somewhere away from the inclement weather, however there was still some activity on the lake, including an adult and juvenile Great Crested Grebe.
The juvenile could be heard above everything else on the lake, yelling to its parent to get it some fish.
Eventually the much harassed adult came up with the goods and after a couple of fish the juvenile quietened down ... for the time being!
