Have you checked the Kata website?

But anything you read or see on here is only a guide. The only way to be sure that your gear will fit, and is to try it.

Ive just traded my 3n1 20, i had in it a gripped 50d with 17-85mm attached. A 70-300 IS, nifty 50, 10-22mm, 430 ex and a few other odds and ends.

It fitted alright but it would be better if your camera was grip free.

Hope that helps

Sigma 70-200 is f/2.8, which means it is hardly a medium sized lens.

You must know that it is 184mm long. And that your camera is about 65mm deep. And from the website that the critical dimension of the bag is 22cm.

So the answer is no. If it was within a few mm there's usually a bit of give in the bag dimensions, but no way 3cm.

I've got the "30" (the biggest one") and it's by no means too big. It's only the size of a small rucksack and is still quite easy to sling around to the front, despite being wider than the "20".

It will hold 4 extra lenses, in the way that I have the bag configured and has really useful side pockets and a very big top pocket for quick access to whatever you decided to put in there.

I think that it's an excellent bag, although I've not tried any similar size bags from other manufactureres, so I can't offer any comparisons .

All I would say is that if you think that you might need the lager bag, then get it! I've read so many reviews on Amazon etc., where people have said things like, "I used to have a Slingshot 200 (for example), but I upgraded to the 300". That must have cost them something ;).

In answer to your questions, I can carry every lens in my "Camera Bag" profile (go have a look) and a D700 with the 70-300mm VR on, plus loads of other gadgets in it :).

Actually HoppyUK, the internal width of the Kata 3n1 "30" is 29.5cm (although they refer to that dimension as "Length" rather than width on their website, as the camera goes in from the side), so this would be a better choice. The "20" looks like it would be too narrow.

If you look at photos 6 and 10 on the following page, you'll see a Canon with a big-ass L lens on ;) and see how easily it fits into the bag ...
