Just got a new lens of the forum (Nikon 85mm F1.8G) and tried a quick snap of my wife Katie. No setup or lights etc just a window and I asked Katie to stand for a second (as she was busy)

Taken at F1.8 - very impressed with the lens

Looks good to me john.

I've recently bought one myself and i'm blown away with how sharp it is at 1.8
