Yes
The majority of my photographs are either portrait or street style photography and I am finding that I am using this lens less and less.
My equipment is (not including the 17-55)
canon 40d
70-200L F4.0
50mm F1.8

Do you think I would regret selling this?
Should I replace with another lens or sell my camera as well as lens and upgrade?

Thanks in advance

The 17-55 was my most used and by far the best lens I owned for a Canon crop. I would keep it above all others unless you go FF. I would have thought the range would be perfect for street work and portraiture.

I use the zoom so much more as I like to take cropped in photos.
Sometimes I think when you cant make a decision re equipment, it is maybe best not to make one at all for a while rather than make what could be an expensive mistake.

Thanks for your advice

Have you reached the limits of your camera.
Do you need the cash.
Would it do any harm having it there just in case.

If the answer to the above is yes then sell it if not keep going with them.

I have the 17-55 and its hardly off the front of my camera unless birding
