Keiss Castle Sunrise

A local scene and I thought the sunrise would be at a good angle with the bonus that it's before the clocks put sunrise back an hour
It was heavily overcast but looked like there might be a small window on the horizon, luckily it was and at just the right time before it closed in.

Lovely shot Andrew I would suggest a little more contrast on the water to get more highlights on it.

I've had a look at the settings on Flickr and think I've secured it a bit but I'm not that up on it. Thanks for the heads up anyway

It is subtle
If you can download the file from Flickr when you are not logged in you need to change your settings.
Posting smaller images would be better too that's a personal choice.

Lovely shot Andy, the best shot I've seen you take I think - Alf's suggestion is a slight improvement although I'd be happy with either to be honest.

I see the merit in Alfs edit but suggest a half way house between the two. Far from me to discourage a bright and colourful rendition but given the cloud cover and lack of ambient light as well as calm sea conditions means I doubt the original image is off point in anyway.
