Does anyone here subscribe to Scott Kelby's online training? I'm thinking about doing it because I don't get enough time to read books and I would like to improve my knowledge. is it worth it?

I signed up for the paid site a month or so ago and have really enjoyed it. The have all manner of topics and tutors.

My only concern is that the new media doesn't justify the monthly payment.

Cheers.

Damn I missed out a voucher for kelby training for a year subscription, totally forgot about it :(

Found a coupon that brings the years sub down to $179 (£115), anybody else rate the content?

Signed up a few weeks ago. Think it's worth it, great range of instructors and videos, plus I need all the help I can get :)

They're always giving discounts, especially when they release new videos.

I managed to get one of the free for 24 hours offers this morning, like what I see, will probably go with the it for $179 with 20% discount, shame I missed the 50% before Xmas :(

their free stuff is really good. If you are unsure, check them out (plenty of back stuff to watch) and gt an idea from that! The Grid, D-Town TV, and lotsa other stuff more photoshop-centric.

An amazing resource... if for nothing else other that inspiration, and just to 'keep in touch'.

have been very impressed so far, and it streams fine on my ipad whilst out and about. Have bought a months subscription :)

I'm on it from time to time...

I go for the monthly subscription. Subscribed last month to watch the D3 tutorial since I was lost, then watched a couple of other videos.

As said above, sometimes the new content doesn't justify the monthly cost, so I just renew it if a must-see video comes out or every three months. Its a great deal for the content on offer and the excellent instructors.

Is it limited to one, not trying to be super cheap but might have to be careful what day I get it if it is so I can make the most of it

Not sure, you do have to register... But if you have multiple email addresses....?

Or spend 14 odd quid and try it for a month....it's well well worth the money.

I went ahead and tried it out for a month and was impressed with the video's I watched so will probably get the year subscription, I've got a NAPP membership so that brings the cost down and I also got emailed a $10 voucher.

Hadnt even looked at the prices but that is pretty reasonable. I've seen a couple of the launch free ones but the connection was a bit dodgy. I want to see the full day with Jay episodes for sure but will wait till Easter/summer holiday before I go for the month as outside of breaks life doesn't afford much time for personal development!
