Ken Rockwell, and his D700 settings

I'm interested to know if many/anyone on here uses, the settings on their D700 that Ken Rockwell recommends on his website, if so do you find the results better than the default settings, or indeed your own settings, i'm very interested to hear your comments about this, as i'm having a think about it i know in a lot of cases we should take what he says with a pinch of salt, but he does occasionally get it right, all your thoughts appreciated

Vivid +10 saturation, with saturation boosted in PS

Joking aside, what is useful is he actually explains in plain english what the various settings and their adjustment does, use this as a guide, have a play and see what you like.

I tried his settings for the D300 - they might work in southern California or whatever sun-drenched part of the world he lives in, but they were a bit on the :nuts: side for the Costa del Clyde
