this thing seems to work on every lens, i got 17-35mm and 70-200mm tammy, 24-70 and 28mm siggie. they all function propperly. It was a random thought last night to see if this works on any of the lenses and to my surprise all of them works great.

the 24-70 seems to suffer a bit on IQ, but the tamron 17-35mm is superbly sharp still and very clear images.

interesting as I was pondering on a tc for the 70-200 but also the 85mm f1.8.

Just check the rear elements of your zoom do not move backwards at certain focal lengths to a position where they would hit the elements of the TC.

For Nikon it depends on the lens.

For AF-S, yes.

For non AF-S, no

The Kenko doesn't play well with Sigma HSM lenses.

nope, it did not, it displays the aperture of the lens, but u need to remember its actually one stop down. also the distance is not corrected eitehr

i have a kenko 1.4x and a Sigma HSM lens and i have no problem with it, it just slows the focus down a tiny bit.
