Kenko DG AF extenders extensions

will the kenko extensions 36 20 12 be ok with a 17 -85 lens will they be compatable for macro ie give a good macro shot, or would i be best using my 50mm 1.4.

Mark,

I can't vouch for the usability on the lens but be aware that there are two versions....one version are EF compatible only and later ones that'll also work with EF-S lenses (they have an additional white alignment spot)
