Hi all, I purchased a Kenko 1.4x teleconverter for my 5D, as I wanted some reach for wildlife but with the 5D's image quality. Evidently, coupled with my 300/4L 420mm isn't enough on FF 
But I thought I'd share some results with you from last weekend.
First up, a secretary bird:
Full frame, resized (added contrast, highlights reduced a bit, minimal shapening)
100% crop
And now a handler shot:

Not bad for £115.00 or whatever it was I paid
Gonna take a crop cam next though
