He flew across the road in front of my car and I quickly stopped,got the camera out of the boot and got 2 shots off before he flew off....only one turned out.
Hand held...on Manual @ f 7.1, 1/1600 with 7D and EF 400 mm

A lovely natural capture Keith, all the better for it not being bated imo, but we know how subjective that can be. I agree with Joe regards to a some noise reduction, not sure if you feel this has improved it or not Keith.

Thanks everyone.....and Yes as with 100% of my pics it needs NR....lol

Did not want to do overall NR as it might have made the ruined the bird......but I read Joes comment while at work and someone told me a way to just do the b/g.
I did this before seeing the rest of the comments and Rich's MOD.....yes it has improved it and better than my effort....it's a start though.
