kestrel barn owl

Great timing if even it is out of focus...shame though !!!
 
Out of focus? I dont think so, the barn owl's head looks very sharp! It's motion blur causing the kestrel to be blurry. I really like the shot. It would possibly have been slightly better with a higher shutter speed, still blurring the kestrel but just less. Nicely captured though!

Must be my screen then....seems very soft my end !!!
 
A great capture of bird behavior - but you seem to have processed it to within an inch of its life ( I have checked out the full size image on your Flickr page ) - it would be interesting to see the origional file before any processing

That owl is in for a big shock:)
