Took this on Bath Rugby Club pitch. The bird would land on a floodlight, then swoop down across the grass.

I HAVE THE SAME CAMERA AND LENS BUT UP TO NOW NOT THE LUCK TO GET A SHOT OF A KESTREL AS GOOD AS THIS. I LIKE THE INTENT THE FALCON HAS. JIMMY.
 
Great shot, lik it a lot. A young one landed on a hedge a few feet from our car a few days ago, must have been early flight training as it looked very unsure as it scrambled up the hedge it just crashed into. Sat there looking at us for a few minutes then off it went and crash landed in the field a few hundred yards further on. No camera, bugger!
 
great opportunity taken very well.
At Bath RFC? Was it playing on the wing(from a Falcons fan)?
