I've been running short of ideas for indoor stuff during this never ending winter so I'm looking for stuff around the house to shoot - closeup of some coffee beans brought back from Tanzania.

Nothing wrong with that, sharp, well exposed, if anything maybe just a bit too head on? i.e. maybe try using a smaller aperture, shoot from a different angle to make more use of DOF?

Hmmm, different I'd have thought a smaller aperture would have given less DoF though:shrug:. Agree about trying other angles

For some reason I put these in the smallest bowl I could find - I have no idea why that was but it limited my ability to shoot angles. I'm planning to redo it with a bigger bowl/tray which will open up the angles a bit. Post results a bit later (assuming it works...)
