Kingfisher in flight with fish

Finally! thanks for reminding me how to post images. It's my own fault. I should come on here more often. I tend not to visit the forum lately. Lost my mojo a bit.

Anyway, here is my attempt at capturing the Kingfisher. I'm a bit out of my comfort zone here, but that's good. Not my usual subject.

Taken with Nikon 500mm and 1.4 convertor.

Very nice image! I'd like to have seen a bit more room for her to fly into as she's a bit central. Also a bit more room above would be nice but I understand you don't always have the space on the original! Still, I like it!

well taken Kevin, I can never get them in flight it takes some doing

I'd agree with more headroom and pushing the bird more over to the left .. and maybe just playing around with the crop to see how the view can change

Always great to see a Kingfisher but in flight and with a fish is special ... agree about composition but maybe easily fixed
