This was the only sighting of a KF in two full days and this one touched base on the perch and took off in the same instant.
The Water Rail was showing well which was some consolation.
This was a long range Wren in the reed bed.
Frustratingly, there was a Cettis Warber in the reed bed, but dug in deeper than an Alabama Tick, so I never got a clear shot at it.
To cap it off I've caught the mother of all colds and I'm just a walking snot machine. 'er indoors has now put her foot down and I'm grounded till further notice.
