Yes
.... well - just! :D

This was the only sighting of a KF in two full days and this one touched base on the perch and took off in the same instant.

The Water Rail was showing well which was some consolation.

This was a long range Wren in the reed bed.

Frustratingly, there was a Cettis Warber in the reed bed, but dug in deeper than an Alabama Tick, so I never got a clear shot at it.

To cap it off I've caught the mother of all colds and I'm just a walking snot machine. 'er indoors has now put her foot down and I'm grounded till further notice. :crying:

Well when the water level was right down under theses perches the KFs were still visiting regularly although not stopping long. Now the water level is right up -plenty of water under perches yet they've not been seen visiting them for some time according to the regulars. Still -thats birding I suppose.

Well you could just corner the market there Cedric :) Bit of an aquired taste though (so to speak)

LOL I might just specialise in Kingfisher arses. :p

To be fair............it's the best Kingfisher arse posted so far:D

The Water Rail is awesome and the Wren is awsomer(y)

Get well soon.

LOL. Thanks Keith.

If I'm not 'ungrounded' by Monday I'm starting the escape tunnel. :dummy:

The KF is an interesting shot, but the other 2 are very good indeed, the 7D is showing its worth with results like these (he says going slightly green :puke:).
Hope your feeling better CT, your not coming out in rashers are you?:D

I can't say I'm feeling much better Trev, but I think the snot flow may be easing slightly.

A KF with a walking stick is unusual  Great shots of the Water Rail and Wren (y)

Tanks for the comments peeps. I'm still not shaking this bloody cold - it's driving me nuts. :puke:
