Karen that is so stunning, the sharpness and detail are amazing.
I've just had a look at your flickr, beautiful photos.
You should put bigger resolutions online, I'd love to see them higher than 800x600.

I've just had a look at your website, the Kingfishers in flight - just amazing.

A real beauty Kaz, was this from a hide or you using some very long reach lens. Really like this (y)

Kaz ... glad to see they land on your perches, months back we carried out some serious tree management at Belvide, one victim being the overhanging tree they landed on by the hide, so I shaped some felled willow into a couple of posts and set them in the ground.

The problem is that the water has not come up as high as previous years, so there are no fish below them, but they are sprouting leaves :D, so with any luck I will get them on the perches, once the water comes up a bit more.

Nice simple setting to the shot, I like it (y)
 
got to find me at least one of these this year
