Amazing little birds to watch hunting.
 
Congrats on getting so close to a kingfisher, not always the easiest thing to do. (y)

I think your images are a little on the warm side. I see some halos and mushy grain too which would suggest oversharpening and maybe some hefty cropping.

Have you checked your white balance settings in camera?

I think a revisit would be well worth your time if you can, you have a wonderful opportunity with this lovely bird, take your time with it and enjoy every moment.(y)
