You guys were supervised by smootheditess snr (mum) on your Rye Meads meet. I know Daz you are wanting her to sign up but I think she needs a slight push so here is her shot of the mating kingfishers so she can see how TP operates etc:

Noisy I know but as tdodd was explaining the light was a mare apparently. I am very proud! Especially since she is showing amazing commitment going up to Rye every day! They have still not fledged.

Ho ho I shall keep on telling her she needs a D700!

You've done much better than I have.
It's interesting to see that even the Sigma 150-500 doesn't have enough reach to fill more of the frame.

Great timing and a wonderful shot. I'm sorry I had to leave before things livened up. It certainly looks like it was worth staying a bit longer. I'm glad your mum is enjoying her photography and getting good results.
