Kingfishers near Guildford

I'm seriously dying to photograph a Kingfisher so if anyone can point me in the direction of a spot near Guildford, I'd be eternally grateful. I've not found any at the places I've been to yet.

One option is to keep an eye on the local nature reserves online.

RSPB sites are normally ok at keeping their recent sightings up to date.

Also worth checking out flickr groups of local reserves to see what type of wildlife people are posting up.

How far were you looking to travel ?
You can quite often find them hanging around with local anglers so might be worth asking
if you know any.
There was one hanging around them near Dorking last year.

Dorking is certainly close enough to travel to. Hell, I'd be up for travelling an hour each way if it was worth it....
