I've just read some of the customer reviews of this card on Amazon, and people are saying it's very slow to both read and write. Is this true? I've got a pair of the Kingston 133x 4GB cards and they seem fine, so I can't see why an 8 gig card with the same speed rating should be much different. If anybody uses them, can you please let me know if you've had any issues? I shoot RAW only if that helps.

Have a look here. It *may* mainly be a Nikon thing, the 16Gb cards are super fast in my 30D / 50D :)

Excellent, so it's worth a go at just under 15 quid then. I have previously used Sandisk cards, but I can't justify throwing 40 notes at a memory card at the moment.

I've got a 16GB one and was using it at Castle Combe on Monday - seemed to work well, but did slow down when i was taking pics in L Jpeg and RAW - taking around 8 pics then stopping until it'd finished saving from memory, onto the card.

My Sandisk Extreme 2GB cards are much faster.
