Well I was amazed using my SRT101b and doing further tests on my Kiron 28-105mm zoom,.....why am I amazed? well it was Jessops film 200asa (erm well I got it free), Tesco develope and scan, and all I have done is reduced the brightness, sharpened a bit more and cleared a few spots up and I think the results are excellent at around 28mm...will have to check it more at the other end:-

similar shot for comparison with a canon fd 28mm and Fuji superia 200asa that I took the previous year:-

That's some significant difference is colour tone their Mr X - I'd be delighted with that one. The Canon shot from last year looks OK until you compare it!

Well it would seem logical in saying that..... "using Tesco for different films you would get a more consistent result in seeing a difference (between films), than home scanning".
