just purchased a D300 and awaiting delivery of a sigma 700-200 f/2.8 does it warrant getting a 1.4 TC also and a monopod?

so 200 x 1.4 x 1.7 = 476mm equivalent on a full frame camera. That's plenty!
The key is getting close and being patient.
