No1 is brilliant! What sort of kit were you using? The shallow DoF really makes it!

my fear exactly, might make it a tad less opaque and a little smaller...

Just my trusty 30D, a nifty-fifty and a Sigma EF-530DG super flashgun

Shot at f/2.2 which is what made it (also, I've been very lucky with my 50mm, it's incredibly sharp from f/2-f/6)
