Kodak all in one printers..

Today arrived another set of inks for my HP C8180 printer. It's a good all in one but it drinks the ink like the Epson R360 I have.

I know Kodak have been pushing their all in one units saying how much you can save on ink.

Does anyone have one of these Kodak all in ones? Are they any good? What's the picture/print quality like.

How Kodak manage to make their ink go further?

Not got one but here's a head to head HP v Kodak which seems to conclude that kodak do work out cheaper for inks, print quality seems to vary with the kinf of paper used as you would expect.

I have a Kodak AIO 5300 and have found that the print quality is as good as my old Epson Stylus R300. At first it was a bit flakey but all issues have disappeared after a firmware update.

The ink does not go further it just costs less to buy. The Kodak seems also to waste less ink on head cleaning cycles which the Epson would do just for looking at it.

At a guess I would say the Kodak costs me half as much to run as the Epson did.
