Yes
One of the earliest motorsport venues in the country and unused between 1925 and recent revival events (due to it being public road). No actual competition (for the same reason) but a whole host of vintage-classic cars taking runs up the hill and on display in the paddock, show and car park.

Some interesting images (y)

#1. I think that this needs a little CCW rotation and a closer crop as there is too much empty space on the right of the image.

#2. Nice focus, and a good candid (y) it makes me wonder what was this big :D

#3. A nice idea and good use of DoF (y)

#4. Sorry I don't get it, what was the motivation for taking a picture hidden behind some plastic seats

#5. A great effort at panning, only tried that once myself and all I can say is it was bloomin hard

#6. Needs a bit of CW rotation and maybe a colour boost but other than that I like it with the marshall waving I think it demonstrates the fun of the event with it being a non competitive even as you've mentioned (y)

Thanks for the crit. :)

I was doing my usual quick edits and uploading a whole bunch last night having only had three hours sleep the night before - That's my excuse for missing the straightening there and I'm sticking to it. :D

The Porsche one? I just kind of liked the even geometry of the empty seats and that they followed the line of the car.

#2 and #3 get my vote (y)

As already said, compostition could be better on the first. I think the idea of #4 could work with more shallow DOF and the background doesn't help (not a lot you can do about that), ideas got potential though.

Cheers,

nice photos seth,i was there on sunday with my escort mexico on a static display but will be back next year taking it up the hill
