I need to get Mrs Frac a small bag to carry an ungripped D700 with a 35-70 lens on it, a SB600,spare cards and batteries and some of her stuff. But I/she doesn`t want a rucksack or bag that screams camera. Is there anything even slightly feminine on the market?

Done a quick Google, but,as always, prefer real life advice.

Ta.

The female smoothedit really likes her one of these from crumpler which is fairly subtle but still has the dividers and amount of protection she would need to hold the gear.

This brand does all sort of bags ... doesn't scream camera at all :p

No they don`t, but they won`t look after my D700 or 35-70 either.......:p

PS....I didn`t even look at the price of those.

Thanks all for the info and i`ll show Maggie the links when she get in from her chimney sweep round..........

I've got a red crumpler that I bought on here and I have to say I love it. Got the same one for my laptop too.

Some very good sellers on the bay Ade. :)

She does not need to carry much, apparantly that is "what you are there to do!"............

So she plumped for a white and bronze messenger 3000.

Thanks for all the advice folks.

Yvonne, she did like the white leather one you linked to......

I made my own up - I made my own inserts from a camping mat, then just put them in a regular largeish handbag!! Works a treat.

My old EOS 300v (similar size / weight to the xxxD cameras) just went straight into my normal sized handbag with my filters / spare batteries, but not a second lens.

Edited to add the Jill - E - Bags are nice, but pricey!
