The background creamyness is lovely and helps isolate the lady and the flower very nicely.
Light is a touch harsh on the flower but it's difficult to get lighting bang on perfect in Macro unless you have a specifically designed macro lighting set up (that is flash right at the front of the lens and diffused very well.
Ladybirds are quite tough to shoot well because of the very dark area on the head. This often ends up too dark or with a big nasty blown out hot spot.
Thank you for your comments Ian. You are right with regards to lighting at the moment just have a flash gun, so maybe need to investigate that a bit more.
