Hi all,
I'm aware this subject may have been beaten to death already, but I provide a twist!
I will be travelling up to the lake district in the next couple of weekends (12th-15th may or 19th-22nd may), mainly for the adventure but also to improve my map reading skills & camping knowhow.
I'm asking for some relatively easy to get to locations via map so I can do aforementioned skill enhancing! Maybe at a push a moderate location, but I'm classing myself as an amateur and don't feel like getting lost on the hills.
I am more than happy to meet people in the pub and go on adventures aswell if anyone wants to refresh their own map skills (And show a youngling how its done) have a pint or just go on jolly walk + pint.
Any and all help will be much appreciated!
