I've been visiting the Red's in the Lake Squirrel for just over 4 years now. Due to one thing or another I hadn't been up for 18 months so another visit was long over due. The latest trip didn't disappoint, with a mixed bag of weather it gave some good photographic opportunities. Here's a few from my recent trip:

My son saw one in bassenthwaite this morning

I didn't realise there were any in the Lakes that would be easily accessible,

There are some places in the lakes where you can see them on a regular basis. I should mention the place I visit is on private land (it’s the garden of Forest How B&B) so they are ‘accessible’ but only if you stay at the B&B. Like anything wild they come and go as they please. Some days you will see them quite often, others not at all. The weather plays a big part in that. At the moment there seems to be about 3-5 that visit the B&B so not a huge number and a lot less than there was pre squirrel pox breakout in 2014.
