Lake District suggestions

I'm going to the lake district in a couple of weeks and it'd be good to hit the ground running in terms of photo locations for sunrise/sunset (I'm there for five days).
Especially interested in Keswick area, so if anyone has suggestions then please put them in this thread

When we did the forum meet at Keswick the other week we did...

Castlerigg Stone Circle at sunrise
Early morning around Derwentwater where the little boats are
Millennium stone
Ashness Bridge
The jetty at the end of the road going to Ashness Bridge

Then us Canon boys went to bed at 8 so you'll have to ask the Nikon contingent what they did then

TP Lakes trip was spiffing fun . I’d also add Buttermere and Crummock Water to the list, just a little further on up the road from Keswick, along the Honister Pass. Oh and prey for good weather too. Have fun

You can't beat a bit of cow pie at the George in Keswick if you are man enough to finish it all.
