Do you know what I'd do with that?
Brighten it up a bit by lifting the exposure. Convert it to B&W but leave the red colour as it is. May not be to everyone's taste but it'll make something a bit more out of it.

I never thought of that because it's years since I've done any selective colour processing but I've just tried a quick edit and think it does actually suit it.
 
It definitely needs an exposure boost - maybe just lift the shadows so as not to blow out the sky?
